Schrey & Veit at IREE 2025

Sprendlingen / New Delhi – From October 15 to 17, 2025, Schrey & Veit will present its innovative noise mitigation solutions for rail transport at the Indian Railways and Engineering Exhibition (IREE) in New Delhi, South Asia’s leading trade fair for railway technology. Together with its Indian partner Acumen Rail, the company will showcase sustainable and effective technologies for reducing rail noise directly at the source.

“Asia – and India in particular – is one of the most dynamic railway regions in the world,” says Karl-Stephan Schneider, Managing Director of Schrey & Veit. “With massive investments in infrastructure and urbanization, there is a growing demand for sustainable, maintenance-free solutions that mitigate noise directly at its origin – and that’s exactly what our rail dampers and wheel absorbers do.”

Sustainable noise control directly at the track

Schrey & Veit’s mechanically mounted rail dampers are completely adhesive-free, making them environmentally friendly, maintenance-free, and heat-resistant – ideal for use in tropical and urban environments. The company’s rail dampers also help to reduce rail corrugation.

Together with Schrey & Veit’s wheel absorbers, which reduce vibrations directly at the wheel, the rail dampers contribute to quieter rail operations worldwide and improve public acceptance in densely populated areas.
